SYNOPSIS

editkernel [-q] file string

DESCRIPTION

editkernel can be used to add or change options in the a kernels configuration file. string is the option you want to add/change.

OPTIONS

-q Make editkernel output to syslog and only output errors.

EXAMPLES

Set SCSI_DELAY to 10000 (or add it if not found):
  editkernel path_to_file options SCSI_DELAY=10000
Set hint.spic.0.at to isa (or add it if not found):
  editkernel path_to_file hint.spic.0.at=
