SYNOPSIS

editttys [-f file][-q] terminal status

DESCRIPTION

editttys can be used to change the console’s or tty’s status between secure and insecure.

OPTIONS

-f file The file to use. The default is /etc/ttys
-q Make editttys output to syslog and only output errors.

EXAMPLES

Set console to insecure
  editttys console insecure
Set all tty’s to secure
  editttys tty secure
