DESCRIPTION

This manual page is not meant to be exhaustive. The complete documentation for this version of T\h’-0.1667m’\v’0.20v’E\v’-0.20v’\h’-0.125m’X can be found in the info file or manual Web2C: A TeX implementation.

eplain is an extension of plain T\h’-0.1667m’\v’0.20v’E\v’-0.20v’\h’-0.125m’X described in the book TeX for the Impatient. It adds these features (among others) to plain T\h’-0.1667m’\v’0.20v’E\v’-0.20v’\h’-0.125m’X:

o left-justified displays
o double-column output
o tables of contents
o \hrule and \vrule with a different default than 0.4pt
o time of day
o verbatim file listing
o generalized footnotes
o blank and black boxes
o citations using BIBT\h’-0.1667m’\v’0.20v’E\v’-0.20v’\h’-0.125m’X
