SYNOPSIS

tc configDistfile [-c mount |-C ]

DESCRIPTION

tc configDistfile displays and configures Tinderbox settings related to distfiles. Without any arguments tc configDistfile will print the current distfile configuration to stdout.

OPTIONS

The following options are supported by tc configDistfile:
-c mount
Specify the distfile cache mount source. This can be either a fully qualified path, or an NFS mount specification. In the former case, the directory will be mounted using nullfs.

Using the distfile cache is an excellent way to speed up Tinderbox builds. To bypass the cache for certain builds, pass the -fetch-original argument to tinderbuild.

-C Disable the distfile cache for all builds. This is the default.

EXAMPLES

Enable the distfile cache using a nullfs-mounted source from /space/distfiles

${pb}/scripts/tc configDistfile -c /space/distfiles

Enable the distfile cache using an NFS-mounted source from foobar:/distfiles

${pb}/scripts/tc configDistfile -c foobar:/distfiles

Where ${pb} is your Tinderbox (or port build) root directory.
