xvtoppm - convert from xvs .xvpics format to ppm
xvtoppm is a simple-minded script that converts xvs Visual
Schnauzer files into the ppm format. This makes it possible to use all
those files to create a contact sheet without scaling down the original
images again. Check out icontacts -Z option which turns off
scaling of the input files. Also check out the -M option which
will allow you to, say, double the size of each image.
xv(1), icontact(1), ppm(1)
xvtoppm doesnt take into account all the information on the first line
of the input files. If the format ever changes from the P7 332 version
currently in use, this program will fail.
