Net::SSH::Perl::Kex::DH18SHA512(3) User Contributed Perl Documentation Net::SSH::Perl::Kex::DH18SHA512(3)

Net::SSH::Perl::Kex::DH18SHA512 - Diffie-Hellman Group 18 SHA512 Key Exchange (RFC3526 Group 18 "8192-bit MODP Group")

    use Net::SSH::Perl::Kex;
    my $kex = Net::SSH::Perl::Kex->new;
    my $dh18 = bless $kex, 'Net::SSH::Perl::Kex::DH18SHA512';

    $dh18->exchange;

Net::SSH::Perl::Kex::DH18SHA512 implements Diffie-Hellman Group 18 SHA512 Key Exchange for Net::SSH::Perl. It is a subclass of Net::SSH::Perl::Kex.

Group 18 Key Exchange uses the Diffie-Hellman key exchange algorithm to produce a shared secret key between client and server, without ever sending the shared secret over the insecure network. All that is sent are the client and server public keys.

Net::SSH::Perl::Kex::DH18SHA512 uses CryptX for the Diffie-Hellman implementation. The p value is set to
