Does this module be up-to-date? Perhaps the engine stuff is a little bit outdated.

Please note that all length specification are bytes. The returned string only includes base64 characters. It is strongly recommended to specifiy the required number of secure bytes and not the required return length.
  • RETURN_LENGTH
  • RANDOM_LENGTH
  • INCLUDE_PADDING

    If set to a true value trailing '=' characters are not removed from the output.

  • BINARY

    If set to a true value the return value is NOT base64 encoded
