NETWORK_CROSS-CONNECT-GROUP(1) OCI CLI Command Reference NETWORK_CROSS-CONNECT-GROUP(1)

network_cross-connect-group -

For use with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect. A cross-connect group is a link aggregation group (LAG), which can contain one or more CrossConnects <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/api/#/en/iaas/latest/CrossConnect>. Customers who are colocated with Oracle in a FastConnect location create and use cross-connect groups. For more information, see FastConnect Overview <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Network/Concepts/fastconnect.htm>.

Note: If you’re a provider who is setting up a physical connection to Oracle so customers can use FastConnect over the connection, be aware that your connection is modeled the same way as a colocated customer’s (with CrossConnect and CrossConnectGroup objects, and so on).

To use any of the API operations, you must be authorized in an IAM policy. If you’re not authorized, talk to an administrator. If you’re an administrator who needs to write policies to give users access, see Getting Started with Policies <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Identity/Concepts/policygetstarted.htm>.

Moves a cross-connect group into a different compartment within the same tenancy. For information about moving resources between compartments, see Moving Resources to a Different Compartment <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Identity/Tasks/managingcompartments.htm#moveRes>.

oci network cross-connect-group change-compartment [OPTIONS]

--compartment-id, -c [text]

The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment to move the cross-connect group to.

--cross-connect-group-id [text]

The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the cross-connect group.

--from-json [text]

Provide input to this command as a JSON document from a file using the file://path-to/file syntax.

The --generate-full-command-json-input option can be used to generate a sample json file to be used with this command option. The key names are pre-populated and match the command option names (converted to camelCase format, e.g. compartment-id –> compartmentId), while the values of the keys need to be populated by the user before using the sample file as an input to this command. For any command option that accepts multiple values, the value of the key can be a JSON array.

Options can still be provided on the command line. If an option exists in both the JSON document and the command line then the command line specified value will be used.

For examples on usage of this option, please see our “using CLI with advanced JSON options” link: https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/SDKDocs/cliusing.htm#AdvancedJSONOptions

Use oci --help for help on global parameters.

--auth-purpose, --auth, --cert-bundle, --cli-auto-prompt, --cli-rc-file, --config-file, --debug, --defaults-file, --endpoint, --generate-full-command-json-input, --generate-param-json-input, --help, --latest-version, --max-retries, --no-retry, --opc-client-request-id, --opc-request-id, --output, --profile, --query, --raw-output, --region, --release-info, --request-id, --version, -?, -d, -h, -i, -v

Copy the following CLI commands into a file named example.sh. Run the command by typing “bash example.sh” and replacing the example parameters with your own.

Please note this sample will only work in the POSIX-compliant bash-like shell. You need to set up the OCI configuration <https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/API/SDKDocs/cliinstall.htm#configfile> and appropriate security policies <https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/Identity/Concepts/policygetstarted.htm> before trying the examples.

Creates a new cross-connect group to use with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect. For more information, see FastConnect Overview <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Network/Concepts/fastconnect.htm>.

For the purposes of access control, you must provide the OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment where you want the cross-connect group to reside. If you’re not sure which compartment to use, put the cross-connect group in the same compartment with your VCN. For more information about compartments and access control, see Overview of the IAM Service <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/Identity/Concepts/overview.htm>. For information about OCIDs, see Resource Identifiers <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm>.

You may optionally specify a display name for the cross-connect group. It does not have to be unique, and you can change it. Avoid entering confidential information.

oci network cross-connect-group create [OPTIONS]

--compartment-id, -c [text]

The OCID <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/identifiers.htm> of the compartment to contain the cross-connect group.

--customer-reference-name [text]

A reference name or identifier for the physical fiber connection that this cross-connect group uses.

--defined-tags [complex type]

Example:

{"Operations": {"CostCenter": "42"}}

This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file using the file://path/to/file syntax.

The --generate-param-json-input option can be used to generate an example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in via the file:// syntax.

--display-name [text]

A user-friendly name. Does not have to be unique, and it’s changeable. Avoid entering confidential information.

--freeform-tags [complex type]

Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/General/Concepts/resourcetags.htm>.

Example:

{"Department": "Finance"}

Accepted values are:

INACTIVE, PROVISIONED, PROVISIONING, TERMINATED, TERMINATING

--limit [integer]

For list pagination. The maximum number of results per page, or items to return in a paginated “List” call. For important details about how pagination works, see List Pagination <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/Concepts/usingapi.htm#nine>.

Example:

50

--page [text]

For list pagination. The value of the opc-next-page response header from the previous “List” call. For important details about how pagination works, see List Pagination <https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Content/API/Concepts/usingapi.htm#nine>.

--page-size [integer]

When fetching results, the number of results to fetch per call. Only valid when used with --all or --limit, and ignored otherwise.

--sort-by [text]

The field to sort by. You can provide one sort order (sortOrder). Default order for TIMECREATED is descending. Default order for DISPLAYNAME is ascending. The DISPLAYNAME sort order is case sensitive.

Note: In general, some “List” operations (for example, ListInstances) let you optionally filter by availability domain if the scope of the resource type is within a single availability domain. If you call one of these “List” operations without specifying an availability domain, the resources are grouped by availability domain, then sorted.

Accepted values are:

DISPLAYNAME, TIMECREATED

--sort-order [text]

The sort order to use, either ascending (ASC) or descending (DESC). The DISPLAYNAME sort order is case sensitive.

Accepted values are:
