Paws::AppSync::CreateResolver(3) User Contributed Perl Documentation Paws::AppSync::CreateResolver(3)

Paws::AppSync::CreateResolver - Arguments for method CreateResolver on Paws::AppSync

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method CreateResolver on the AWS AppSync service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method CreateResolver.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to CreateResolver.

    my $appsync = Paws->service('AppSync');
    my $CreateResolverResponse = $appsync->CreateResolver(
      ApiId         => 'MyString',
      FieldName     => 'MyResourceName',
      TypeName      => 'MyResourceName',
      CachingConfig => {
        CachingKeys => [ 'MyString', ... ],    # OPTIONAL
        Ttl         => 1,                      # OPTIONAL
      },    # OPTIONAL
      DataSourceName => 'MyResourceName',    # OPTIONAL
      Kind           => 'UNIT',              # OPTIONAL
      PipelineConfig => {
        Functions => [ 'MyString', ... ],    # OPTIONAL
      },    # OPTIONAL
      RequestMappingTemplate  => 'MyMappingTemplate',    # OPTIONAL
      ResponseMappingTemplate => 'MyMappingTemplate',    # OPTIONAL
      SyncConfig              => {
        ConflictDetection => 'VERSION', # values: VERSION, NONE; OPTIONAL
        ConflictHandler   => 'OPTIMISTIC_CONCURRENCY'
        , # values: OPTIMISTIC_CONCURRENCY, LAMBDA, AUTOMERGE, NONE; OPTIONAL
        LambdaConflictHandlerConfig =>
          { LambdaConflictHandlerArn => 'MyString', },    # OPTIONAL
      },    # OPTIONAL
    );
    # Results:
    my $Resolver = $CreateResolverResponse->Resolver;
    # Returns a L<Paws::AppSync::CreateResolverResponse> object.

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see <https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/appsync/CreateResolver>

REQUIRED ApiId => Str

The ID for the GraphQL API for which the resolver is being created.

The caching configuration for the resolver.

The name of the data source for which the resolver is being created.

REQUIRED FieldName => Str

The name of the field to attach the resolver to.

The resolver type.

  • UNIT: A UNIT resolver type. A UNIT resolver is the default resolver type. A UNIT resolver enables you to execute a GraphQL query against a single data source.
  • PIPELINE: A PIPELINE resolver type. A PIPELINE resolver enables you to execute a series of "Function" in a serial manner. You can use a pipeline resolver to execute a GraphQL query against multiple data sources.

Valid values are: "UNIT", "PIPELINE"

The "PipelineConfig".

The mapping template to be used for requests.

A resolver uses a request mapping template to convert a GraphQL expression into a format that a data source can understand. Mapping templates are written in Apache Velocity Template Language (VTL).

VTL request mapping templates are optional when using a Lambda data source. For all other data sources, VTL request and response mapping templates are required.

The mapping template to be used for responses from the data source.

The "SyncConfig" for a resolver attached to a versioned datasource.

REQUIRED TypeName => Str

The name of the "Type".

This class forms part of Paws, documenting arguments for method CreateResolver in Paws::AppSync
