Paws::EC2::RunScheduledInstances - Arguments for method RunScheduledInstances on Paws::EC2

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method RunScheduledInstances on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method RunScheduledInstances.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to RunScheduledInstances.

    my $ec2 = Paws->service('EC2');
    # To launch a Scheduled Instance in a VPC
    # This example launches the specified Scheduled Instance in a VPC.
    my $RunScheduledInstancesResult = $ec2->RunScheduledInstances(
      'InstanceCount'       => 1,
      'LaunchSpecification' => {
        'IamInstanceProfile' => {
          'Name' => 'my-iam-role'
        },
        'ImageId'           => 'ami-12345678',
        'InstanceType'      => 'c4.large',
        'KeyName'           => 'my-key-pair',
        'NetworkInterfaces' => [
          {
            'AssociatePublicIpAddress' => 1,
            'DeviceIndex'              => 0,
            'Groups'                   => ['sg-12345678'],
            'SubnetId'                 => 'subnet-12345678'
          }
        ]
      },
      'ScheduledInstanceId' => 'sci-1234-1234-1234-1234-123456789012'
    );
    # Results:
    my $InstanceIdSet = $RunScheduledInstancesResult->InstanceIdSet;
    # Returns a L<Paws::EC2::RunScheduledInstancesResult> object.
    # To launch a Scheduled Instance in EC2-Classic
    # This example launches the specified Scheduled Instance in EC2-Classic.
    my $RunScheduledInstancesResult = $ec2->RunScheduledInstances(
      'InstanceCount'       => 1,
      'LaunchSpecification' => {
        'IamInstanceProfile' => {
          'Name' => 'my-iam-role'
        },

        'Placement'    => {
          'AvailabilityZone' => 'us-west-2b'
        },
        'SecurityGroupIds' => ['sg-12345678']
      },
      'ScheduledInstanceId' => 'sci-1234-1234-1234-1234-123456789012'
    );
    # Results:
    my $InstanceIdSet = $RunScheduledInstancesResult->InstanceIdSet;
    # Returns a L<Paws::EC2::RunScheduledInstancesResult> object.

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see <https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/ec2/RunScheduledInstances>

Unique, case-sensitive identifier that ensures the idempotency of the request. For more information, see Ensuring Idempotency (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/APIReference/Run_Instance_Idempotency.html).

Checks whether you have the required permissions for the action, without actually making the request, and provides an error response. If you have the required permissions, the error response is "DryRunOperation". Otherwise, it is "UnauthorizedOperation".

The number of instances.

Default: 1

REQUIRED LaunchSpecification => Paws::EC2::ScheduledInstancesLaunchSpecification

The launch specification. You must match the instance type, Availability Zone, network, and platform of the schedule that you purchased.

REQUIRED ScheduledInstanceId => Str

The Scheduled Instance ID.

This class forms part of Paws, documenting arguments for method RunScheduledInstances in Paws::EC2
