Paws::RDS::ResetDBParameterGroup(3) User Contributed Perl Documentation Paws::RDS::ResetDBParameterGroup(3)

Paws::RDS::ResetDBParameterGroup - Arguments for method ResetDBParameterGroup on Paws::RDS

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method ResetDBParameterGroup on the Amazon Relational Database Service service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method ResetDBParameterGroup.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to ResetDBParameterGroup.

    my $rds = Paws->service('RDS');
    # To reset the values of a DB parameter group
    # This example resets all parameters for the specified DB parameter group to
    # their default values.
    my $DBParameterGroupNameMessage = $rds->ResetDBParameterGroup(
      'DBParameterGroupName' => 'mydbparametergroup',
      'ResetAllParameters'   => 1
    );

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see <https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/rds/ResetDBParameterGroup>

REQUIRED DBParameterGroupName => Str

The name of the DB parameter group.

Constraints:

Must match the name of an existing "DBParameterGroup".

To reset the entire DB parameter group, specify the "DBParameterGroup" name and "ResetAllParameters" parameters. To reset specific parameters, provide a list of the following: "ParameterName" and "ApplyMethod". A maximum of 20 parameters can be modified in a single request.

MySQL

Valid Values (for Apply method): "immediate" | "pending-reboot"

You can use the immediate value with dynamic parameters only. You can use the "pending-reboot" value for both dynamic and static parameters, and changes are applied when DB instance reboots.

MariaDB

Valid Values (for Apply method): "immediate" | "pending-reboot"

You can use the immediate value with dynamic parameters only. You can use the "pending-reboot" value for both dynamic and static parameters, and changes are applied when DB instance reboots.

Oracle

Valid Values (for Apply method): "pending-reboot"

A value that indicates whether to reset all parameters in the DB parameter group to default values. By default, all parameters in the DB parameter group are reset to default values.

This class forms part of Paws, documenting arguments for method ResetDBParameterGroup in Paws::RDS
