Paws::StorageGateway::UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy - Arguments for method UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy on Paws::StorageGateway

This class represents the parameters used for calling the method UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy on the AWS Storage Gateway service. Use the attributes of this class as arguments to method UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy.

You shouldn't make instances of this class. Each attribute should be used as a named argument in the call to UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy.

    my $storagegateway = Paws->service('StorageGateway');
    my $UpdateSMBSecurityStrategyOutput =
      $storagegateway->UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy(
      GatewayARN          => 'MyGatewayARN',
      SMBSecurityStrategy => 'ClientSpecified',
      );
    # Results:
    my $GatewayARN = $UpdateSMBSecurityStrategyOutput->GatewayARN;
    # Returns a L<Paws::StorageGateway::UpdateSMBSecurityStrategyOutput> object.

Values for attributes that are native types (Int, String, Float, etc) can passed as-is (scalar values). Values for complex Types (objects) can be passed as a HashRef. The keys and values of the hashref will be used to instance the underlying object. For the AWS API documentation, see <https://docs.aws.amazon.com/goto/WebAPI/storagegateway/UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy>

REQUIRED GatewayARN => Str

REQUIRED SMBSecurityStrategy => Str

Specifies the type of security strategy.

ClientSpecified: if you use this option, requests are established based on what is negotiated by the client. This option is recommended when you want to maximize compatibility across different clients in your environment.

MandatorySigning: if you use this option, file gateway only allows connections from SMBv2 or SMBv3 clients that have signing enabled. This option works with SMB clients on Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 or newer.

MandatoryEncryption: if you use this option, file gateway only allows connections from SMBv3 clients that have encryption enabled. This option is highly recommended for environments that handle sensitive data. This option works with SMB clients on Microsoft Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 or newer.

Valid values are: "ClientSpecified", "MandatorySigning", "MandatoryEncryption"

This class forms part of Paws, documenting arguments for method UpdateSMBSecurityStrategy in Paws::StorageGateway
