LISTEVAL(nged) BRL-CAD User Commands LISTEVAL(nged)

listeval - Displays primitive shape parameters after applying the accumulated transformations from the indicated path.

listeval [-t] {path}

Combinations may include transformation matrices to be applied to their members. A path through a series of combinations and ending with a primitive shape represents that primitive shape with the transformations accumulated through the path applied to it. The listeval command displays primitive shape parameters after applying the accumulated transformations from the indicated path. If the specified path does not end at a primitive shape, then all possible paths from the indicated path to any primitive shape will be evaluated and displayed. The -t option forces a shorter (i.e. terse) list of primitive shape parameters. This option is useful for primitives with potentially long parameter lists, such as BOTs.

The example shows the use of the listeval command to display the parameters for a specified shape after applying the transformations from the given path.

Example 1. Display parameters for a given shape after applying transformations from a given path.

mged> listeval group1/region1/shapeb

Displays the parameters for shapeb after applying the transformation matrix from group1 for region1 and the transformation matrix from region1 for shapeb.
