SUMMARY(nged) BRL-CAD MGED Commands SUMMARY(nged)

summary - The summary command with no arguments lists the number of primitive shapes, regions, and nonregion combinations in the current database.

summary [s] [r] [g]

The summary command with no arguments lists the number of primitive shapes, regions, and nonregion combinations in the current database. If the s argument is supplied, then the name of each primitive shape is also listed. Similarly, the r flag asks for the region names, and g asks for the names of all the combinations (including region). The flags may be concatenated to get combined output.

The example shows the use of the summary command with an argument to list a summary of primitive shapes and regions for the current database.

Example 1. List a summary of primitive shapes and regions for the current database.

mged>summary sr

Lists a summary of primitive shapes and regions for the current database.
